We aim to provide quality products at great prices.  We aim to see our customers happy. You can be assured of being treated honestly and fairly with any queries you may have. PLEASE retain your ORIGINAL receipt at all times.

(i) What it covers:

If you are not satisfied with your product you can return it..2

Your items will be sent Registered and Insured with a Tracking Number to your postal address..3

If you your product fails upon first use TBFS will replace it..4

Medical Mastectomy forms have a manufacturer’s warranty..1

Non Mastectomy Breastforms (such as Gold Seal, Transforms, Secret Shapes) are covered by a Manufacturers Garantee against faulty workmanship or materials (where stated)..5

(ii)What it does NOT cover:

We do NOT guarantee any products in the following instances:

  • If you can NOT produce your receipt.
  • Wear and tear from use.
  • Abuse or misuse
  • Tears, punctures, breakages, ruptures, compression ruptures, impact, stretching, bite marks, damage cause by associated clothing or apparel, applications for which they were not intended, removal or application of adhesives, caused by accident or design, not following instructions. Any other circumstance omitted here, can not be assumed to be covered under the guarantee.
  • Loss or damage of products if sent via express or regular (uninsured) post.
    • Unless asked we will send all items Registered and Insured post.
    • We will only send items Express that have a tracking number. But this is NO guarantee that your item will arrive or arrive undamaged.
    • We will NOT replace items damaged in post that are not sent insured.
  • If you change your mind about your product:
    • Upon receiving your product.
    • After using your product.
  • If a replacement item is ordered and then you change your mind about the replacement item.
  • Items out of the warranty or garantee period.
  • Damage or failure due to failure to read instructions - posted on our website or enclosed with the item(s).
  • Product variations: all products may differ slightly from the picture shown in colour, pattern, size, texture and shape - this does NOT constitute a fault and is not reasonable grounds for a return or refund.
Exchanges

Our policy is to have happy satisfied customers.

Products in General

We accept exchanges on all our products provided:

  1. You contact us a soon as possible.
  2. You return your item(s) Undamaged/Unsoiled/UNUSED
  3. Return your original receipt with your items. We WILL refuse ANY claim made without this.
  4. You have not treated your item(s)  in such a way that it decreases their value.
  5. You return them in the same condition you received them.
  6. You return items in the original , undamaged packaging.
  7. You returned your item(s)  via insured mail to their full value.
  8. You have not breached any stated or implied condition of our guarantee.

If we receive the item(s) and we determine it has been damaged/soiled/used then we will refuse the claim for exchnage. Your item(s) will be returned to you at your expense.

You will be issued an RA number for the purpose of Exchange upon contacting us..

Breastforms

If the breast forms you have purchased are the wrong size , please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your package. Please be sure you want to keep a Breastform before you use ANY adhesives on them or apply an attachable form. Forms that have been damaged, the protective packaging is lost or damaged, or breastforms have had adhesive adhered to the back cannot be returned as these would be considered soiled items..

Wigs

Wig pictures and descriptions are made to the best of the manufacturers and our ability...

All wigs are hand made either from synthetics or Human hair and may vary slightly in colour, highlights, shape and cut. Wig cut or colour variation does NOT constitute any of the following:

• a fault.
• a wrong description.
• being different from a sample shown to you.
• not being able to do what they are supposed to.

Wig variation is NOT reasonable grounds for a refund.

Under some circumstances we may exchange the wig if you think you have ordered incorrectly (if the new wig you want is not a stock item a 20% restocking fee applies - payments to be made in advance).

Refunds & Returns

We do not normally give refunds if you:

• simply change your mind, or
• make a wrong decision.

You can choose between a refund, exchange
or credit where goods:

• are faulty
• have been wrongly described
• are different from a sample shown to you, or
• do not do what they are supposed to.

Please note:

If returning items you will be liable for initial return postage costs and any associated postage costs. If none of these legal conditions are met then you may be liable for further postage costs , processing fees or charges and credit card fees if applicable to return your items to you.....

If you claim a product is faulty and TheBreastFormStore can NOT determine this immediately upon receiving your items, then your items(s) will be sent to the manufacturer for apparaisal. The manufacturer's decision is final. You will be informed in advance if this needs to occur.

ALL our items are inspected for faults before they are posted. A check box will be ticked on your receipt to show this. If there is nothing wrong with the items or it is suspected you have damaged the items yourself or you have attempted to mislead us we will deny your claim.

You will be issued an RA number for the purpose of Return/Refund..

Fees & Charges: If an order is cancelled and if we allow a refund, fees will apply along with any associated 3rd party fees (eg card fees). Fees are:

  • 10% cancellation fee (to a maximum of $20)
  • Credit card fees.
  • Associated instituion fees
  • Postage costs (if applicable)

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.

Personal Shopping

It is free to come and browse at our store (appointment only)......

If you require Personal Shopping - that is:

  • Us to do your product shopping for you.
  • To go shopping with you and help.
  • To help with your own clothing, dressing and make up when you come to visit us. - "geting your look just right".

These services are charged to you at an hourly rate of $50.00

This includes:

  • Our Time to go shopping with you or for you.
  • Our time to help you get dressed and do your makeup and wigs.
  • Fuel costs (for first40km) after which at a rate of$1.00 per km.

Does not include parking fees, food, drink or incidental costs.

You will need to provide a list of specific items needed or have several venues in mind to go to...

Note: As these items are not our products, all items bought are the responsibility of the shopper(you). We will not exchane or refund any items bought under a personal shopping arrangement. We will provide all original receipts to the shopper and if exchange is needed the shopper will be required to:
(a) exchange the goods themselves
(b) pay the hourly rate for The Breastform Store to act as intermediatary to secure an exchange.
(c) if an exchnage or refund can not be sucured with the original shop by The Breastform Store then the items will be returned to the shopper at the shoppers expense.

We reserve the right to refuse certain venues and destinations.

Conditions

1.Medical Mastectomy forms have a manufacturer’s warranty. 

    1. For a period of either 1, 2 or 5 years according to the manufacturer – this is stated on your warranty booklet.
      1. If your product does not come with a warranty card then please contact us.
    2. Only medical mastectomy forms are coverd by a warranty.
    3. All warranties are manufacturer’s warranty. If your claim is accepted by the manufacturer, then we will issue you with a replacement product, refund or store credit (which ever you prefer). You will be credited/refunded postal charges.

Please Note: You must give TBFS first opportunity to satisfy your claim. You must pay all initial postal charges. You must return your products to TBFS before we can process or accept a claim. If you claim is accepted then the cost of the item and postal charges (which are considered reasonable – for example: economy rates) will be reimbursed to you. Warranty only available on those prodcucts where stated..

2. If you are not satisfied with your product you can return it.  In this case you may be entitled to one of the following:

  • A refund
  • A store credit
  • An exchange of the item for another of equal or lesser value.

You are only legally entitled to a refund if your items:

• are faulty
• have been wrongly described
• are different from a sample shown to you, or
• do not do what they are supposed to.(this does not cover if you simply dont like them)

Please note: If returning items you will be liable for initial return postage costs and any associated postage costs. If none of these legal conditions are met then you may be liable for further postage costs, fees or charges and credit card fees if applicable. In the case of a possible faulty product, if it is found faulty by the manufacturer your postage costs will be refunded to you(wait period applies). To return your items to you..... Please contact TBFS within 24 hrs of delivery for a return authorization number(RA) first.  You MUST :

    1. NOT use the product. If you continue to use a damaged product this garantee is null and void.
    2. Return your item(s) Undamaged/Unsoiled
    3. Not have treated your item(s)  in such a way that it decreases their value.
    4. Return your original receipt with your items. We WILL refuse ANY claim made without this.
    5. Returned in the same condition you received them
    6. Return breastforms in the original protective packaging.
    7. Returned your item(s)  via insured mail to their full value.
    8. Not have breached any other stated or implied condition of this guarantee.

    Failure to comply with any of these considtions may result in your items being returned to you at further cost to you..

3. Your items will be sent Registered and Insured with a Tracking Number to your postal address: All items are inspected before dispatch. Items that arrive damaged must be considered Postal Damage.
    1. If they arrive damaged then you can place a claim in for the item and once processed and accepted we will send you another item free of charge.
    2. You must return the original item via insured mail before we will process your claim – you will be credited/refunded this amount of postage.
    3. You may be asked to fill out a claim form at a post office and provide proof of damage.
    4. DECISION FOR POSTAL DAMAGE IS MADE BY AUSTRALIA POST - NOT US - AND IF REJECTED WE WILL RETURN THE ITEMS TO YOU AT YOUR EXPENSE.
4. If you your product fails upon first use TBFS will replace it:
    1. IF it is caused by a manufacturing defect. This must be determined by us and/or the manufacturer and your product must be returned to us for evaluation before we will decide to replace it or not.
    2. Excludes damage caused by any of the items listed insection (ii) "What it Does not Cover" .

5.Manufactures Garantee is ONLY against fauliure of the following:

    1. Seperation of seams . NOT tears or rips adjacent to the seams.
    2. Seperation of the nipple or areola from the form . This does not include tears or rips adjacent to the nipple or areola.
    3. Seperation of a substantial amount of filling from the outer skin so as to make the form unusable.

    NOTE: Manufacturer Garantee does NOT cover any other fault(s). NO Express Warranty stated or implied.

Please note:

  • TBFS can not be responsible for loss or damage in the mail. If you fail to insure the item TBFS will not be responsible for OR replace it if it gets lost stolen or damaged in the mail or suffers any other misadventure.
  • No manufacturers or express warranty given or implied unless specifically stated for a product.
  • All attempts have been made to represent this guarantee in accordance with the law and the Department of Fair Trading regulations. If there is error or omission it is purely by accident and NOT by design.
